Proverbs 11:7-9 in English

⁷ When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish; And the hope of iniquity perisheth.

⁸ The righteous is delivered out of trouble; And the wicked cometh in his stead.

⁹ With his mouth the godless man destroyeth his neighbor; But through knowledge shall the righteous be delivered.

⁷ At the death of a just man his hope does not perish: but the boast of the ungodly perishes.

⁸ A righteous man escapes from a snare, and the ungodly man is delivered up in his place.

⁹ In the mouth of ungodly men is a snare to citizens: but the understanding of righteous men is prosperous.

⁹ A feigner by mouth deceiveth his friend; but just men shall be delivered by knowing. (A faker, or a hypocrite, deceiveth his friend with his mouth; but the righteous rescue others with their wisdom.)

⁷ In the death of a wicked man, hope perisheth, And the expectation of the iniquitous hath been lost.

⁸ The righteous from distress is drawn out, And the wicked goeth in instead of him.
