²⁰ And his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and smote Joash at the house of Millo, on the way that goeth down to Silla.

²¹ For Jozacar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.

²⁰ And the rest of the acts of Joas, and all that he did, behold, are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?

²¹ And his servants rose up and made a conspiracy, and smote Joas in the house of Mallo that is in Sela.

²⁰ And his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and slew Joash in the house of Millo, which goeth down to Silla.

²¹ For Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.

²⁰ And his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and slew Joash in the house of Millo, which goeth down to Silla.

²¹ For Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.

²⁰ And his servants rose up and made a conspiracy, and struck Joas in the house of Mallo that is in Sela.

²¹ And Jezirchar the son of Jemuath, and Jezabuth Somer's son, his servants, struck him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amessias his son reigned in his stead.

²⁰ And his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and smote Joash at the house of Millo, on the way that goeth down to Silla.

²¹ For Jozacar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in hin stead.

²⁰ Joash's officials plotted against him, and two of them killed Joash on the road that goes down to the Silla district. The two men who did that were Jozabad, the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad, the son of Shomer. Joash was buried in the place where his ancestors were buried, in the part of Jerusalem called ❛The City of David❜. Then Joash's son Amaziah became the king of Judah.

²¹ For Jozacar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, struck him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in David’s city; and Amaziah his son reigned in his place.

²⁰ And his servants made a secret design and put Joash to death at the house of Millo on the way down to Silla.

²¹ And Jozacar, the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad, the son of Shomer, his servants, came to him and put him to death; and they put him into the earth with his fathers in the town of David; and Amaziah his son became king in his place.

²⁰ And his servants rose up and made a conspiracy, and smote Joash in the house of Millo, at the descent of Silla.

²¹ And Jozachar the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.

²⁰ And his servants arose, and conspired among themselves, and slew Joas in the house of Mello in the descent of Sella.

²¹ For Josachar the son of Semaath, and Jozabad the son of Somer his servant struck him, and he died: and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David, and Amasias his son reigned in his stead.

²⁰ His officials plotted against him and murdered him at Beth Millo, on the road that goes down to Silla.

²¹ The officials who attacked and killed him were Jozacar, son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad, son of Shomer. They buried him with his forefathers in the City of David. His son Amaziah succeeded him as king.

²⁰ And his seruants arose and wrought treason, and slewe Ioash in the house of Millo, when he came downe to Silla:

²¹ Euen Iozachar the sonne of Shimeath, and Iehozabad the sonne of Shomer his seruants smote him, and he dyed: and they buried him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid. And Amaziah his sonne reigned in his stead.

²¹ (12:22) And Yozachar the son of Shim'ath, and Yehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amazyah his son became king in his stead.

²⁰ And the servants of Joash rose, and swore together betwixt themselves, and smote Joash in the house of Millo, and in the going down of Silla.

²¹ For Jozachar, the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad, the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he was dead; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Amaziah, his son, reigned for him.

²⁰ And the servants of Joash rose (up), and swore together betwixt themselves, and smote Joash in the house of Millo, and in the going down of Silla (or at the going down, or the descent, to Silla).

²¹ For Jozachar, the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad, the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he was dead (or and he died); and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Amaziah, his son, reigned for him.

²⁰ And his servants rise, and make a conspiracy, and smite Joash in the house of Millo, that is going down to Silla:

²¹ yea, Jozachar son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad son of Shemer, his servants, have smitten him, and he dieth, and they bury him with his fathers in the city of David, and reign doth Amaziah his son, in his stead.
