John 19:2-4

²And the soldiers twisted a crown out of poisonous thorns and put it on His head; they also threw a purple robe around Him

³and started saying, “Hail, O King of the Jews!” And they slapped Him repeatedly.

⁴Pilate then went out again and says to them, “Look, I am bringing him out to you so that you may know that I find no crime in him at all.”
