Isaiah 10:22-31 in American Standard Version (1901)

22 For though thy people, Israel, be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them shall return: a destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
23 For a full end, and that determined, will the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, make in the midst of all the earth.
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian, though he smite thee with the rod, and lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation against thee shall be accomplished, and mine anger shall be directed to his destruction.
26 And Jehovah of hosts will stir up against him a scourge, as in the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and his rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall depart from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed by reason of fatness.
28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed through Migron; at Michmash he layeth up his baggage;
29 they are gone over the pass; they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah trembleth; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
30 Cry aloud with thy voice, O daughter of Gallim! hearken, O Laishah! O thou poor Anathoth!
31 Madmenah is a fugitive; the inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety.

Esaias 10:22-31 in Brenton Septuagint Translation

22 And though the people of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant of them shall be saved.
23 He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because the Lord will make a short work in all the world.
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Be not afraid, my people who dwell in Sion, of the Assyrians, because he shall smite thee with a rod: for I am bringing a stroke upon thee, that thou mayest see the way of Egypt.
25 For yet a little while, and the indignation shall cease: but my wrath shall be against their council.
26 And God will stir up enemies against them, according to the stroke of Madiam in the place of affliction: and his wrath shall be by the way of the sea, even to the way that leads to Egypt.
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his yoke shall be taken away from thy shoulder, and his fear from thee, and the yoke shall be destroyed from off your shoulders.
28 For he shall arrive at the city of Angai, and shall pass on to Maggedo, and shall lay up his stores in Machmas.
29 And he shall pass by the valley, and shall arrive at Angai: fear shall seize upon Rama, the city of Saul.
30 The daughter of Gallim shall flee; Laisa shall hear; one shall hear in Anathoth.
31 Madebena also is amazed, and the inhabitants of Gibbir.

Isaiah 10:22-31 in Translation for Translators

22 Now, the people of Israel are as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore, but only a few of them will return from the countries to which they were exiled. Yahweh has decided to destroy most of the Israelis and that is what he must do because he is completely just/righteous.
23 Yes, the Commander of the armies of angels has already decided to destroy the entire land of Israel.
24 This is what the Commander of the armies of angels says: “My people in Jerusalem, do not be afraid of the army of Assyria when they beat you with rods and clubs, like the men of Egypt did to your ancestors long ago.
25 Soon I will no longer be angry with you, and then I will be angry with the people of Assyria and destroy them!”
26 The Commander of the armies of angels will whip them. He will do to them like he did when he helped Gideon and his 300 soldiers to defeat the army of the Midian people-group, and like he did when he showed his mighty power MTY by causing the army of Egypt to drown in the Red Sea.
27 Some day, Yahweh will cause the army of Assyria to stop oppressing you, his people; he will end your suffering and your being slaves of the people of Assyria MET; he will take away the load that you people of Judah have been carrying, and cause things to go well for you.
28 The army of Assyria will enter northern Judah near Aiath town, they will go through Migron town and store their supplies at Micmash town north of Jerusalem.
29 They will cross through a mountain pass and set up their tents at Geba town. People in Ramah town will tremble because of being afraid. The people of Gibeah town, where King Saul was born, will all run away.
30 You people of Gallim town will cry out for help. You will shout to the people of Laish city near Jerusalem to warn them! The people of Anathoth town will suffer a lot.
31 The people of Madmenah town north of Jerusalem will all be running away, and the people of Gebim town close to Jerusalem will be trying to hide.

22 For though your people, O Israel, are as the sand of the sea, only a small number will come back: for the destruction is fixed, overflowing in righteousness.
23 For the Lord, the Lord of armies, is about to make destruction complete in all the land.
24 For this cause the Lord, the Lord of armies, says, O my people living in Zion, have no fear of the Assyrian, even if his rod comes on your back, and his stick is lifted up as in Egypt.
25 For in a very short time my passion will be over, and my wrath will be turned to their destruction.
26 And the Lord of armies will be shaking a whip against him, as when he overcame Midian at the rock of Oreb: and his rod will be lifted up against them as it was against the Egyptians.
27 And in that day the weight which he put on your back will be taken away, and his yoke broken from off your neck.
28 He has gone up from Pene-Rimmon, he has come to Aiath; he has gone past Migron, at Michmash he puts his forces in order.
29 They have gone across the mountain; Geba will be our resting-place tonight, they say: Ramah is shaking with fear; Gibeah of Saul has gone in flight.
30 Give a loud cry, daughter of Gallim; let Laishah give ear; let Anathoth give answer to her.
31 Madmenah has gone; the men of Gebim are putting their goods in a safe place.

24 Therefore, thus saith the Lord the God of hosts: O my people that dwellest in Sion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall strike thee with his rod, and he shall lift up his staff over thee in the way of Egypt.
25 For yet a little and a very little while, and my indignation shall cease, and my wrath shall be upon their wickedness.
26 And the Lord of hosts shall raise up a scourge against him, according to the slaughter of Madian in the rock of Oreb, and his rod over the sea, and he shall lift it up in the way of Egypt.

Isaiah 10:22-31 in Free Bible Version

22 Israel, even though your people are as numerous as sand on the seashore, only a remnant will return. The Lord has rightly decided to destroy his people.
23 The Lord God Almighty has rightly decided to bring destruction throughout the whole country.
24 So this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says, My people living in Zion, don't be afraid of the Assyrians who beat you with rods and hit you with clubs, just like the Egyptians did.
25 Very shortly I will stop being angry with you. Then I will turn my anger on them and I will destroy them.
26 The Lord Almighty will lash them with a whip, just as he did when he attacked the Midianites at the rock of Oreb. He will hold up his rod over the sea, just as he did in Egypt.
27 At that time he will remove the burden from your shoulders and the yoke from your neck. The yoke will be broken because of the anointing with oil.
28 The Assyrians came to Aiath, passed through Migron, and stored their supplies at Michmash.
29 They cross the pass, saying, “We'll stay overnight at Geba.” The people of Ramah tremble in fear; the inhabitants of Gibeah of Saul run away.
30 Shout out a warning, people of Gallim! Pay attention, those living in Laishah! You poor people of Anathoth!
31 The people of Madmenah, are all running away. The inhabitants of Gebim are looking for somewhere safe.

26 Jehovah of hosts shall raise up against him a scourge, As he smote Midian at the rock of Horeb, And as he lifted up the rod against the sea; Yea, he shall lift it up, as in Egypt.
27 In that day shall his burden be removed from thy shoulder, And his yoke from thy neck; Yea, thy yoke shall be broken, as that of a fat steer.
28 He is come to Aiath; he passeth through Migron; In Michmash he leaveth his baggage;
29 They pass the strait; At Geba they make their night-quarters; Ramah trembleth; Gibeah of Saul fleeth.
30 Cry aloud, O daughter of Gallim! Hear, O Laish! Alas, poor Anathoth!
31 Madmenah hasteth away; The inhabitants of Gebim take to flight.

22 For though your people, Israel God prevails, are like the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
23 For the Lord, Adonai Tzva'ot Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies, will make a full end, and that determined, throughout all the earth.
24 Therefore the Lord, Adonai Tzva'ot Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies, says “My people who dwell in Zion Mountain ridge, Marking, don’t be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt Abode of slavery did.
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation against you will be accomplished, and my anger will be directed to his destruction.”
26 Adonai Tzva'ot Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies will stir up a scourge against him, as in the slaughter of Midian Strife at the rock of Oreb. His rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it up like he did against Egypt Abode of slavery.
27 It will happen in that day, that his burden will depart from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
28 He has come to Aiath. He has passed through Migron. At Michmash he stores his baggage.

22 For though your people, Israel, are like the sand of the seashore, only a remnant of them will return. Destruction is decreed, as overflowing righteousness demands.
23 For the Lord Yahweh of hosts, is about to carry out the destruction determined throughout the land.
24 Therefore the Lord Yahweh of hosts says, “My people who live in Zion, do not fear the Assyrian. He will strike you with the rod and raise his staff against you, as the Egyptians did.
25 Do not fear him, for in a very short time my anger against you will end, and my anger will lead to his destruction.”
26 Then Yahweh of hosts will wield a whip against them, as when he defeated Midian at the rock of Oreb. He will raise his rod over the sea and lift it up as he did in Egypt.
27 On that day, his burden is lifted from your shoulder and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of fatness.
28 The enemy has come to Aiath and has passed through Migron; at Michmash he has stored his provisions.
29 They have crossed over the pass and they lodge at Geba. Ramah trembles and Gibeah of Saul has fled.
30 Cry aloud, daughter of Gallim! Give attention, Laishah! You poor Anathoth!
31 Madmenah is fleeing, and the inhabitants of Gebim run for safety.

22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 For the Lord GOD of hosts will make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and my anger in their destruction.
26 And the LORD of hosts will raise up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his furniture.

Isaiah 10:22-31 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling

22 For why, Israel, if thy people is as the gravel of the sea, the remnants shall be turned thereof; an ending made short shall make rightfulness or rightwiseness to be plenteous.
23 For why the Lord God of hosts shall make an ending and abridging, in the midst of all earth.
24 For this thing the Lord God of hosts saith these things, My people, the dweller of Zion, do not thou dread of Assur, for he shall smite thee in a rod, and he shall raise up his staff on thee in the way of Egypt.
25 For why yet a little, and a little, and mine indignation and my strong vengeance shall be ended on the great trespass of them.
26 And the Lord of hosts shall raise up a scourge on him by the vengeance of Midian in the stone of Oreb, and by his rod on the sea; and he shall raise that rod in the way of Egypt.
27 And it shall be in that day, his burden shall be taken away from thy shoulder, and his yoke from thy neck; and the yoke shall wax all rotten from the face of oil.
28 He shall come into Aiath, he shall pass into Migron, at Michmash he shall betake his vessels to keeping.
29 They passed swiftly, Geba is our seat, Ramah was astonied, Gibeah of Saul fled.
30 Thou daughter of Gallim, wail with thy voice; thou Laish, perceive, thou poor Anathoth.
31 Madmenah passed; the dwellers of Gebim fled; be ye comforted.

Isaiah 10:22-31 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling (Enhanced)

22 For why, Israel, if thy people is as the gravel of the sea, the remnants shall be turned (again) thereof; an ending made short shall make rightfulness to be plenteous. (Because, O Israel, though thy people be as innumerable as the sand of the sea, only a remnant shall turn again to him or shall return to him; and so a shortened ending shall make justice to be plentiful.)
23 For why the Lord God of hosts shall make an ending and abridging, in the midst of all earth. (For the Lord God of hosts shall make an ending and a shortening, that is, destruction, over all the earth.)
24 For this thing the Lord God of hosts saith these things, My people, the dweller of Zion, do not thou dread of Assur, for he shall smite thee in a rod, and he shall raise up his staff on thee in the way of Egypt. (For this reason the Lord God of hosts saith these things, My people, the inhabitants of Zion, do not thou fear the Assyrians, though they shall strike thee with their rod, and they shall raise up their staff against thee, like the Egyptians did.)
25 For why yet a little, and a little, and mine indignation and my strong vengeance shall be ended on the great trespass of them.
26 And the Lord of hosts shall raise up a scourge on him by the vengeance of Midian in the stone of Oreb, and by his rod on the sea; and he shall raise (up) that rod in the way of Egypt. (And the Lord of hosts shall raise up a scourge upon them like his vengeance upon Midian at the stone of Oreb, and his rod shall be upon the River, like he raised up that rod against Egypt.)
27 And it shall be in that day, his burden shall be taken away from thy shoulder, and his yoke from thy neck; and the yoke shall wax all rotten from the face of oil. (And it shall be on that day, his burden shall be taken away from thy shoulder, and his yoke from thy neck; and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.)
28 He shall come into Aiath, he shall pass into Migron, at Michmash he shall betake his vessels to (safe) keeping.
29 They passed swiftly, Geba is our seat, Ramah was astonied (or Ramah was astonished), Gibeah of Saul (hath) fled.
30 Thou daughter of Gallim, wail with thy voice; thou Laish, perceive (it), thou poor Anathoth.
31 Madmenah passed; the dwellers of Gebim fled; be ye comforted. (The people of Madmenah flew; the inhabitants of Gebim fled away; be ye strong.)

Isaiah 10:22-31 in Young's Literal Translation

22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, A remnant doth return of it, A consumption determined, Overflowing with righteousness.
23 For a consumption that is determined, The Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, Is making in the midst of all the land.
24 Therefore, thus said the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, 'Be not afraid, my people, inhabiting Zion, because of Asshur, With a rod he doth smite thee, And his staff lifteth up against thee, in the way of Egypt.
25 For yet a very little, And the indignation hath been completed, And Mine anger by their wearing out.
26 And awaking for him is Jehovah of Hosts, A scourge like the smiting of Midian at the rock Oreb, And his rod is over the sea, And he hath lifted it in the way of Egypt.
27 And it hath come to pass, in that day, Turned is his burden from off thy shoulder, And his yoke from off thy neck, And destroyed hath been the yoke, because of prosperity.
28 He hath come in against Aiath, He hath passed over into Migron, At Michmash he looketh after his vessels.
29 They have gone over the passage, Geba they have made a lodging place, Trembled hath Rama, Gibeah of Saul fled.
30 Cry aloud with thy voice, daughter of Gallim, Give attention, Laish! answer her, Anathoth.
31 Fled away hath Madmenah, The inhabitants of the high places have hardened themselves.
