²⁶ And it was a handbreadth thick: and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.

²⁷ And he made the ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.

²⁸ And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;

²⁹ and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.

²⁶ And Chiram made the caldrons, and the pans, and the bowls; and Chiram finished making all the works that he wrought for king Solomon in the house of the Lord:

²⁷ two pillars and the wreathen works of the pillars on the heads of the two pillars; and the two net-works to cover both the wreathen works of the flutings that were upon the pillars.

²⁸ The four hundred pomegranates for both the net-works, two rows of pomegranates for one net-work, to cover both the wreathen works of the bases belonging to both pillars.

²⁹ And the ten bases, and the ten lavers upon the bases.

²⁹ And upon their borders between the projection were lions, and oxen, and cherubs: and on the projections, even so above, and also below were the places of lions and oxen, hanging work.

²⁶ The sides of the tank were 3 in./8 cm. thick. The rim was like the rim of a cup. It curved outward, like the petals of a lily. When the tank was full, it held about 10,000 gallons of water.

²⁷ Huram also made ten bronze carts. Each was six feet long and six feet wide and 4-1/2 feet tall.

²⁸ On the sides of the carts there were panels which were set in frames.

²⁹ On those panels were bronze figures of lions, bulls, and winged creatures. Below and above the lions and bulls there were decorations of bronze wreaths.

²⁶ and its rim was as the work of the rim of a cup, a lily-flower, and the thickness of it was a span.

²⁹ And on the square sides between the frames were lions, oxen, and winged ones; and the same on the frame; and over and under the lions and the oxen and the winged ones were steps.

²⁶ And its thickness was a hand-breadth, and its brim was like the work of the brim of a cup, with lily-blossoms; it held two thousand baths.

²⁷ And he made ten bases of brass: four cubits was the length of one base, and the breadth four cubits, and the height three cubits.

²⁸ And the work of the bases was this: they had panels, and the panels were between the fillets.

²⁹ And on the panels that were between the fillets were lions, oxen and cherubim; and over the fillets there was a base above; and beneath the lions and oxen were garlands of festoon-work.

²⁶ And the laver was a handbreadth thick: and the brim thereof was like the brim of a cup, or the leaf of a crisped lily: it contained two thousand bates.

²⁷ And he made ten bases of brass, every base was four cubits in length, and four cubits in breadth, and three cubits high.

²⁸ And the work itself of the bases, was intergraven: and there were gravings between the joinings.

²⁹ And between the little crowns and the ledges were lions, and oxen, and cherubims: and in the joinings likewise above: and under the lions and oxen, as it were bands of brass hanging down.

²⁶ It was as thick as the width of a hand, and its edge was like the flared edge of a cup or a lily flower. It held two thousand baths.

²⁷ He also made ten carts to carry basins. The carts measured four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three cubits high.

²⁸ This is how they were put together: side panels were attached to uprights.

²⁹ Both the side panels and the uprights were decorated with lions, bulls, and cherubim. Above and below the lions and the bulls were decorative wreaths.

²⁶ It was an hand bredth thicke, and the brim thereof was like the worke of the brim of a cup with floures of lilyes: it contained two thousad Baths.

²⁷ And he made tenne bases of brasse, one base was foure cubites long, and foure cubites broad, and three cubites hie.

²⁸ And the worke of the bases was on this maner, They had borders, and the borders were betweene the ledges:

²⁹ And on the borders that were betweene the ledges, were lyons, bulles and Cherubims: and vpon the ledges there was a base aboue: and beneath the lyons and bulles, were addicions made of thinne worke.

²⁹ And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the corner ledges it was thus also above; and likewise beneath the lions and oxen were pendant wreaths of plated work.

²⁶ And Hiram made the caldrons, and the pans, and the bowls; and Hiram finished making all the works that he wrought for King Solomon in the house of the Lord:

²⁷ two pillars and the wreathen works of the pillars on the heads of the two pillars; and the two networks to cover both the wreathen works of the flutings that were upon the pillars.

²⁸ The four hundred pomegranates for both the networks, two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover both the wreathen works of the bases belonging to both pillars.

²⁹ And the ten bases, and the ten lavers upon the bases.

²⁶ The sea was as thick as the width of a hand, and its brim was forged like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. The sea held two thousand baths of water.

²⁷ Huram made the ten stands of bronze. Each stand was four cubits long and four cubits wide, and the height was three cubits.

²⁸ The work of the stands was like this. They had panels that stood between frames,

²⁹ and on the panels and on the frames were lions, oxen, and cherubim. Above and below the lions and oxen were wreaths of hammered work.

²⁸ And that work of the foundaments was raised betwixt; and engravings were between the jointures.

²⁹ And between the little crowns and the circles were lions, oxen, and cherubims or cherubim; and in the jointures in like manner above; and under the lions and the oxen were as reins of bridles of brass hanging down.

²⁶ And the thickness of the sea was of four fingers, or a palm, and the brink thereof was as the brink of a cup (or and its brim was like the brim of a cup), and as the leaf of a lily crooked again; the sea contained two thousand baths, that is, three thousand metretes.

²⁷ And he made ten brazen foundaments, each foundament of four cubits of length, and of four cubits of breadth, and of three cubits of highness.

²⁸ And that work of the foundaments was raised betwixt; and gravings were between the jointures.

²⁹ And between the little crowns and the circles were lions, oxen, and cherubims; and in the jointures in like manner above; and under the lions and the oxen were as reins of bridles of brass hanging down, (or and under the lions and the oxen were like reins of bridles made of bronze hanging down, or spiral work).

²⁶ And its thickness is an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.

²⁷ And he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit is the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.

²⁸ And this is the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders are between the joinings;

²⁹ and on the borders that are between the joinings are lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen are additions — sloping work.
