¹¹Cretans and Arabians; we hear them declaring the great works of God in our own languages.”

¹²Yes they were all amazed and perplexed, saying one to another, “Whatever is going on?”

¹³But different ones were jeering, saying, “They are full of sweet wine!”

¹⁴So Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and proclaimed to them: “Men—Jews and all who are dwelling in Jerusalem—let this be known to you; indeed, listen to my speech!
