⁴⁶ In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.

⁴⁷ And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out.

⁴⁸ And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of Jehovah: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the showbread was, of gold;

⁴⁹ and the candlesticks, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;

⁵⁰ and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the firepans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple, of gold.

⁴⁶ All these were of costly stones, sculptured at intervals within even from the foundation even to the top, and outward to the great court,

⁴⁷ founded with large costly stones, stones of ten cubits and eight cubits long.

⁴⁸ And above with costly stones, according to the measure of hewn stones, and with cedars.

⁴⁹ There were three rows of hewn stones round about the great hall, and a row of sculptured cedar:

⁵⁰ and Solomon finished all his house.

⁴⁸ And king Solomon took the furniture which Chiram made for the house of the Lord, the golden altar, and the golden table of show bread.

⁴⁹ And he put the five candlesticks on the left, and five on the right in front of the oracle, being of pure gold, and the lamp-stands, and the lamps, and the snuffers of gold.

⁵⁰ And there were made the porches, and the nails, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the golden censers, of pure gold: and the panels of the doors of the innermost part of the house, even the holy of holies, and the golden doors of the temple.

⁴⁶ They made them by pouring melted bronze into the clay molds that Huram had set up near the Jordan River valley, between the cities of Succoth and Zarethan.

⁴⁷ Solomon did not tell his workers to weigh those bronze objects, because there were many items. So no one ever knew what they weighed.

⁴⁸ Solomon's workers also made all the gold items for the temple: the altar; the table on which the priests put the sacred bread placed before God;

⁴⁹ the ten lampstands that were put in front of the Very Holy Place, five on the south side and five on the north side; the decorations that resembled flowers; the lamps; the tongs to grasp the hot coals;

⁵⁰ the cups, the gold lamp wick snuffers, the small lamp bowls, the dishes for incense, the pans for carrying the hot coals, and the hinges for the doors at the entrance to the Very Holy Place and for the doors at the entrance to the main room of the temple. Those things were all made of gold.

⁴⁷ There was no reckoning of the brass of which he made all these works, from the very great abundance, there was no end of the weight of the brass. In the country round about Jordan did he cast them, in the clay land between Socchoth and Sira.

⁴⁸ And Solomon had all the vessels made for use in the house of the Lord: the altar of gold and the gold table on which the holy bread was placed;

⁴⁹ And the supports for the lights, five on the right side and five on the left before the inmost room, of clear gold; and the flowers and the lights and all the instruments of gold;

⁵⁰ And the cups and the scissors and the basins and the spoons and the fire-trays, all of gold; and the pins on which the doors were turned, the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and the doors of the Temple, all of gold.

⁴⁷ And Solomon placed all the vessels: but for exceeding great multitude the brass could not be weighed.

⁴⁸ And Solomon made all the vessels for the house of the Lord: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, upon which the leaves of proposition should be set:

⁴⁹ And the golden candlesticks, five on the right hand, and five on the left, over against the oracle, of pure gold: and the flowers like lilies, and the lamps over them of gold: and golden snuffers,

⁵⁰ And pots, and fleshhooks, and bowls, and mortars, and censers, of most pure gold: and the hinges for the doors of the inner house of the holy of holies, and for the doors of the house of the temple were of gold.

⁴⁹ the lampstands made of pure gold that stood in front of the inner sanctuary, five on the right and five on the left; the flowers, lamps, and tongs that were all made of pure gold;

⁵⁰ the basins, wick trimmers, bowls, ladles, and censers that again were all made of pure gold; and the gold hinges for the doors of the inner sanctuary, the Most Holy Place, in addition to the doors of the main hall of the Temple.

⁴⁶ In the plaine of Iorden did the King cast them in clay betweene Succoth and Zarthan.

⁴⁷ And Salomon left to weigh all the vessels because of the exceeding aboundance, neyther could the weight of the brasse be counted.

⁴⁸ So Salomon made all the vessels that perteyned vnto the house of the Lord, the golden altar, and the golden table, whereon the shewbread was,

⁴⁹ And the candlestickes, fiue at the right side, and fiue at the left, before the oracle of pure gold, and the flowres, and the lampes, and the snuffers of golde,

⁵⁰ And the bowles, and the hookes, and the basens, and the spoones, and the ashpannes of pure golde, and the hinges of golde for the doores of the house within, euen for the most holy place, and for the doores of the house, to wit, of the Temple.

⁴⁹ and he made of most pure gold golden candlesticks, five at the right half, and five at the left half, against God’s answering place; and he made as the flowers of a lily, and golden lanterns above, and golden tongs;

⁵⁰ and pots, and hooks, and vials, and mortars, and censers of purest gold; and the hinges of the doors of the inner house of the holy of holy things, and of the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.

⁴⁶ And the king melted out those vessels in the field country of Jordan (or And the king had those vessels cast in the field country of Jordan), in the clay land, betwixt Succoth and Zarthan.

⁴⁷ And Solomon setted all the vessels (in their places); but for the great multitude, no weight was of the brass. (And Solomon put all the vessels in their places; and because of their great multitude, the weight of the bronze could not be reckoned.)

⁴⁸ And Solomon made all the vessels in the house of the Lord; soothly he made the golden altar, that is, the altar of incense, that was within the temple, and the golden board, upon which the loaves of setting forth were set; (And Solomon made all the vessels for the House of the Lord; yea, he made the gold altar, that is, the altar of incense, that was within the Temple, and the gold table, on which the loaves of setting forth, or the loaves of proposition, were placed;)

⁴⁹ and he made of most pure gold (the) golden candlesticks, five at the right half, and five at the left half, against God’s answering place; and he made as the flowers of a lily, and (the) golden lanterns above, and (the) golden tongs; (and he made the candlesticks out of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left side, that stood in front of the Inner Temple, that is, the Most Holy Place, or the Holy of Holies; and he made the lily flowers, and the lanterns, and the tongs out of pure gold;)

⁵⁰ and pots, and hooks, and vials, and mortars, and censers of purest gold; and the hinges of the doors of the inner house of the holy of holy things, and of the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold. (and the pots, and hooks, and basins, and spoons, and censers out of pure gold; and the hinges for the doors of the Inner Temple, that is, the Most Holy Place, or the Holy of Holies, and for the doors of the Temple itself, were also made out of gold.)

⁴⁶ In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.

⁴⁷ And Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

⁴⁸ And Solomon maketh all the vessels that are in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table — on which is the bread of the Presence — of gold,

⁴⁹ and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,

⁵⁰ and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.
