²⁷ Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he showed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

²⁸ So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria; and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.

²⁹ And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.

³⁰ And Ahab the son of Omri did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah above all that were before him.

²⁷ And the rest of the acts of Ambri, and all that he did, and all his might, behold, are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

²⁸ And Ambri slept with his fathers, and is buried in Samaria; and Achaab his son reigns in his stead.

^28a And in the eleventh year of Ambri Josaphat the son of Asa reigns, being thirty-five years old in the beginning of his reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Gazuba, daughter of Seli.

^28b And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and turned not from it, even from doing right in the eyes of the Lord: only they removed not any of the high places; they sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places.

^28c Now the engagements which Josaphat made with the king of Israel, and all his mighty deeds which he performed, and the enemies whom he fought against, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?

^28d and the remains of the prostitution which they practised in the days of Asa his father, he removed out of the land:

^28e and there was no king in Syria, but a deputy.

^28f And king Josaphat made a ship at Tharsis to go to Sophir for gold; but it went not, for the ship was broken at Gasion Gaber.

^28g Then the king of Israel said to Josaphat, I will send forth thy servants and my servants in the ship: but Josaphat would not.

^28h And Josaphat slept with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Joram his son reigned in his stead.

²⁹ In the second year of Josaphat king of Juda, Achaab son of Ambri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.

³⁰ And Achaab did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did more wickedly than all that were before him.

²⁸ After Omri died, he was buried in Samaria, and his son Ahab became king.

²⁹ Ahab became king of Israel when Asa had ruled Judah for almost 38 years. Ahab ruled in Samaria city for 22 years.

³⁰ Ahab did many things that Yahweh considered to be evil. He did more evil things than any of the kings who ruled Israel before he did.

²⁹ In the thirty-eighth year that Asa was king of Judah, Ahab, the son of Omri, became king over Israel; and Ahab was king in Samaria for twenty-two years.

³⁰ And Ahab, the son of Omri, did evil in the eyes of the Lord, even worse than all who went before him.

²⁷ And the rest of the acts of Omri, what he did, and his might which he shewed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

²⁸ And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria; and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.

²⁹ And Ahab the son of Omri began to reign over Israel in the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah; and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.

³⁰ And Ahab the son of Omri wrought evil in the sight of Jehovah more than all that were before him.

²⁷ Now the rest of the acts of Amri, and the battles he fought, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?

²⁸ And Amri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria, and Achab his son reigned in his stead.

²⁹ Now Achab the son of Amri reigned over Israel in the eight and thirtieth year of Asa king of Juda. And Achab the son of Amri reigned over Israel in Samaria two and twenty years.

³⁰ And Achab the son of Amri did evil in the sight of the Lord above all that were before him.

²⁷ The rest of what happened in Omri's reign, what he did, and his achievements are recorded in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

²⁸ Omri died and was buried in Samaria. His son Ahab succeeded him as king.

²⁹ Ahab, son of Omri, became king of Israel in the thirty-eighth year of the reign of King Asa of Judah. He reigned in Samaria for twenty-two years.

³⁰ Ahab, son of Omri, did evil in the Lord's sight, more than those who lived before him.

²⁷ And the rest of the actes of Omri, that hee did, and his strength that he shewed, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

²⁸ And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Samaria: and Ahab his sonne reigned in his stead.

²⁹ Nowe Ahab the sonne of Omri began to reigne ouer Israel, in the eyght and thirtie yeere of Asa king of Iudah: and Ahab the sonne of Omri reigned ouer Israel in Samaria two and twenty yere.

³⁰ And Ahab the sonne of Omri did worse in ye sight of the Lord then al that were before him.

²⁹ Forsooth Ahab, the son of Omri, reigned upon Israel, in the eight and thirtieth year of Asa, king of Judah; and Ahab, the son of Omri, reigned upon Israel, in Samaria, two and twenty years.

³⁰ And Ahab, the son of Omri, did evil in the sight of the Lord, over all men that were before him;

²⁸ And Omri lieth with his fathers, and is buried in Samaria, and Ahab his son reigneth in his stead.

²⁹ And Ahab son of Omri hath reigned over Israel in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah, and Ahab son of Omri reigneth over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years,

³⁰ and Ahab son of Omri doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah above all who are before him.
