John 5:43-46

⁴³I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another should come in his own name, you would receive him.

⁴⁴How can you believe, you who accept praise from one another but are not seeking the praise that comes from the only God?

⁴⁵Do not think that I myself will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have put your hope.

⁴⁶If you believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.
