John 2:15-24

15When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.
16He told those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Don’t make my Father’s house a market place!”
17Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house will consume me.”
18So the Jews answered and asked Him, “What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?”
19Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
21But the temple He had spoken of was His body.
22After He was raised from the dead, His disciples recalled what He had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
23Now while He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the miraculous signs He was doing and believed in His name.
24But Jesus didn’t commit Himself to them, because He knew all people,
