Bomu is also known as Bo, Bobo, Bobo Oule, Bobo Wule, Boomu, Boore, Bore, Boré, Mu Boomu, Western Bobo Oule, Western Bobo Wule, Western Bwamu and Western Red.

Bomu is mainly spoken in Burkina Faso and Mali.
