Lushai is also known as Chin, Mizo, Duhlian Twang, Dulien, Hualngo, Ka-Lin-Kaw, Le, Lei, Lukhai, Lusago, Lusai, Lusei, Lushai-Mizo, Lushay, Lushei, Mizo ṭawng, Sailau and Whelngo.

Lushai is mainly spoken in India, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
