4And running up ahead in front, he went up into a sycamore tree so that he might see Him, because He was about to pass by that way.
5And when He came upon that place, Jesus looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay in your house.”
6So he hurried and came down, and received Him, rejoicing.
7But when they saw it, they all were complaining, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a sinner.”
8Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my possessions to the poor; and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I restore fourfold.”
9And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;
10for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
11Now as they heard these things, He told another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately.
12Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.
