Luke 10:21-28

²¹In that same hour Jesus exulted in His spirit and said: “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to ‘infants’. Yes, Father, because it pleased you to do so.”

²²And turning to the disciples He said: “All things have been entrusted to me by my Father; also, no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and to whomever the Son may choose to reveal Him.”

²³Then turning to His disciples privately He said: “Blessed are the eyes that are seeing the things that you see;

²⁴for I say to you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you are seeing but did not, and to hear what you are hearing but did not.”

²⁵And then, a certain lawyer stood up to test Him, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

²⁶So He said to him: “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?”

²⁷In answer he said: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and, your neighbor as yourself.”

²⁸So He said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this and you will live!”
