John 1:22-24

²²Therefore they said to him, Who art thou? That we give an answer to these that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

²³He said, I am a voice of a crier or a voice of a man crying in desert, Dress ye the way of the Lord, as Isaiah the prophet, said.

²⁴And they that were sent, were of the Pharisees.
