4As they were going through the cities they were delivering the dogmas to them, to keep—the ones that had been determined by the apostles and the elders in Jerusalem.
5So the congregations kept on being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily.
6Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia,
7they approached Mysia and tried to go to Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.
8So they bypassed Mysia and went down to Troas.
9A vision appeared to Paul during the night: a man of Macedonia was standing, appealing to him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”
