Romans 5:12-16

12So then as through one man sin entered into the world, and through sin death, and thus death came through unto all men, because all sinned—
13(for all the time before the Law sin was in the world; but sin is not set to one's account when there is no law.
14Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the manner in which Adam transgressed; who is a type of him who was to come.—
15But the free gift was not as the transgression. For if through the offence of the one the many died, much more hath the grace of God, and the gift which is by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abounded to the many.
16And the free gift is not like what happened through one man who sinned. For sentence of condemnation followed one offence; but the free gift is a justification after many offences.
