Proverbs 10:13-16

¹³Upon the lips of a man of understanding wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him that lacketh understanding.

¹⁴Wise men treasure up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is destruction close at hand.

¹⁵The rich man's wealth is his strong city; The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

¹⁶The earnings of the righteous minister to life; The revenues of the wicked, to sin.
