John 9:1-6

¹And as Iesus passed by he sawe a man which was blynde from his birth.

²And his disciples axed him sayinge. Master who dyd synne: this man or his father and mother that he was borne blynde.

³Iesus answered: Nether hath this man synned nor yet his father and mother: but that the workes of God shuld be shewed on him.

⁴I must worke the workes of him that sent me whyll it is daye. The nyght cometh when no man can worke.

⁵As longe as I am in the worlde I am the lyght of the worlde.

⁶Assone as he had thus spoken he spate on the grounde and made claye of the spetle and rubbed the claye on the eyes of the blynde
