¹⁸the sea, too, was getting rough, for a strong wind was blowing.

¹⁹When they had rowed three or four miles, they caught sight of him walking on the water and approaching the boat, and they were frightened.

²⁰But Jesus said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid!”
